What do you intend to do with the fans and filters? If you are running a PC that needs mad cfm from the fans to overclock then you need some powerful fans and good filters. If not, then you need something quiet. If you are looking for quiet, get some Panaflo 120mm's. You can get them from me! :D If not, get some high cfm fans like Delta or the Sanyo Denki. ;) :D

you don t have to use filters, you can use panty-hose,or drier sheets,or AC filters
there just to protect your rig, especially when you start putting in side intakes

you should have filters no matter what.

but you can use anything as filters. even if you use pantyhose, you are using them as filters... so...

filters prevent dust from coming into the case. or most of the dust.

frankly i can't stand people who don't use filters.

yes filters reduce the amount of air coming in, but still. hi flo filters allow more air to come in. probably allows more dust too.

not really bro, they come with a median that really grabs a lot,
ive tryed all three choices,i ll call them 1-2-3, the 1 was rediculous
it cut the cfm on a 120 in half, the 2 was almost the same, the third was
really the deal,my server and my gamer rig i haven t had to clean since,
but the filters i do every other week, i think if your serious about the longevity
of your hardware their the cheapest insurance you can buy,but i do agree with you
anything you use is better than nothing,
