If you're being serious (hard to tell in this thread) then no, peanuts are not a great source of protein.

While peanuts have a substantial amount of protein in them it is not the same type of protein that you find beef, chicken, turkey, fish, etc. It's what's commonly referred to as a "half-protein". I'm no scientist so I can't give you best and most correct information, but protein from peanuts is missing "something" vital that the above mentioned foods have.

Never eat peanuts for the protein, eat them because they are a healthy fat.
