What are good Mobos and Ram for the E6400 processor. I probably will not overclock at all, and I just want something that runs well, is fast, and is cool. What is my best choice.

If you're not overclocking you should just look for value, you won't see too much difference b/t mobos and RAM at stock speeds.

Read some of the articles on the main site!

If you're not going to overclock go with a cheap, standard intel motherboard and cheap 'n' cheerful RAM for which I'd suggest something like Crucial or Corsair value select.

Motherboard: If you don't want to overclock but you need a nice board, get the ASUS P5B or P5B-E motherboard...nice board, you won't have any headaches...

Ram: Get Geil's, Corsair's or G-Skill's value Ram...whatever you want...although... remember that if you don't plan to overclock, there is no need to buy expensive (value) DDR2 800 Ram, you can go for DDR2 533 (board's standard bus speed = 266Mhz x2 = 533) or DDR2 667.

Good Luck!!
