ill be 25 or 26 when i apply, i will make around 14 an hour full time
i may or may not be a home owner
ill be going part time

full time tuition at the college is about 2000 per semester before books
if im a home owner ill have about 5k saved up, if not, ill have around 25k

assuming i apply early enough, is there a possibility i can get some money?

grant.....no way unless you have superb test scores.

federal grant, not one from the school
fafsa doesnt care how smart you are

then you don't qualify by $8 dollars per hour.

EDIT: assuming you're talking about undergrad.

ok the guys at my work that make 8-9 per hour get grants, ill just check with the school

Might be a dumb question, but have you checked if your place of employment offers tuition reimbursement? A lot of companies offer it but don't exactly advertise the fact that they do.

yeah im going to do that on monday
the info gained from the classes can be used at my job, so hopefully they will

grants are given based on need. if you are making $14 an hour with no dependents....good luck. I've been declined for grants for making less per hour even with 1 dependent so.....
