the ones on there website work spectacularly for me. actually i got mine off of soyo, because my mainboard has built in, so there might be better for you.. but for win2k those are great for me, for beos... i found some on be bits, and for linux, well can't find any support for udma 66 in linux, so i say to linux, forget you.

It is best to match the drivers with the version of your HPT366 BIOS, which is displayed on the Highpoint bootup screen.

On my Abit BE6 the 1.21 drivers are the only ones that work for me period. The other two at Abit's website lock the computer at bootup every time. With the 1.21 drivers though, I have no problems so I'm not going to complain (well, i will a little. If they'd just let me disable the frickin' thing I could pop in one of my promise cards like I want, but oh well).

Never had any luck with the HPT366 drivers in Win2k. This is on a BE6-II board. Was forced to get a Promise ATA/66 card and never looked back.

Lucky you. They let you disable it on the BE6-II. I've got to keep the POS active while a Promise Ultra33 and Ultra66 sit on my shelf wasting away.

I finally gave up on them with my BE6 and win2k. They just didn't get along.... They would work fine sometimes, and sometime it would crash like hell. Way to inconsistent for me.

I'll buy a promise card next time.
