is it a race of people? i am thinking its slang, but i dont know. The term keeps coming up in a book im reading, please explain :)

and yes i looked it up and couldnt find anything, hence why i think its slang

Anglos are what all other people in the world aren't. To put it another way, Anglos aren't what all other people in the world are.

This state of affairs is good or bad, depending on your perspective.

I could probably provide more detail, but right now I don't really care.

the correct term is Angle. it only becomes Anglo when combined with Saxon.

When I lived in LA, "Anglo" was semi-derogatory chicano slang for white people.
