Ah, the good ol' Celeron. I remember my 1st one which was a 300a Celeron with 128KB of L2 cache overclocked to 450MHz. That CPU rocked!
The Celeron's haven't been that good in a long time. Thanks to competition between AMD and Intel, the prices on higher end chips are much lower and easily outperform the highly overclocked low end chips.
The old 300A, 333, and 366 Celerons were alright in their day, plus a few of the Celemine versions were decent, but all the Netburst based Celerons were a joke. Today, nobody cares about the Core versions because the prices on real C2Ds/C2Qs/X2s/Phenoms are so much better.
