lobsters are boiled alive, sometimes in pots with clear lids and such... i always thought that was a ****** way to die

OMG Bugs that are caught by praying manti and other spiders... i was watching discovery channel, they get grabbed, and a giant chunk of their head is bitten off, you just see em struggling and spazzing out while being held and eaten alive...

ewwwww

oh come on we get it easy, we die of old age, or small bullets piercing us... sometimes we get sliced easily with knives and such. better than getting shred apart taking chunks of our body off, us surviving to watch it... most of us atleast.

Cows

People stick electrocuting rods up their anus and kill them
They also hit the cows with hammers and kill them

That python that burst after eating the crocodile seemed to have it pretty bad... and one time I saw pirahna devour a catfish in like 10 seconds, leaving nothing but the head and spine and the gills were still fluttering and it kept opening and closing its mouth. Pretty unpleasant.

Pets that live next to major arteries. Stupid cat runs across highway, car comes along, crushes it, separating its head from the body.

Potatoes. They are skinned alive, cut, and boiled.

They are technically dead seeing how as they have been severed from the rest of the plant that they are apart of.

I vote for minks. They get the anal-electrocution.

Alas I saw it on Discovery or TLC some years ago... a documentary about the Amazon river, I think.

They grows eyes and shoots though if you expose them to light...

Oh, I was talking about the pirahna thing, but that's cool too.

EDIT: Oh, alligator, not crocodile; my bad.

I would say humans die the worst death.

Some people suffer in pure agony for YEARS as they die of cancer ...
Some people slowly loose their mind with alzheimer's. Eventually they loose control of their vital organs ...

Sure getting boiled alive or getting eaten alive would suck. The pain would be horrible, but it would end quickly.

I can not imagine anything as bad as fighting cancer tooth and nail over years. Suffering from the effects of radiation therapy or chemo therapy ... then after all that agony and suffering, still fading into death. The worst pain imaginable stretched over an extended period of time resulting in utter decimation. That is the worst death possible.

Actually lobsters have a pretty good death... if you put them in the pot, then boil the water, the lobsters don't feel slow increase in temperature and slowly dies...

Having seem several friends and relatives die from long and painful deaths brought on by illnesses and cancers, I disagree completely.
These animals you describe die quick and relatively painless deaths in comparison. In addition, the animals typically lack the intelligence and self-awareness to even be aware of their mortality except for a few brief of moments of fear before the end.
OTOH, human intelligence allows them to be aware of their impending mortality for decades, leading many individuals to suffer from major psychological disorders revolving around the anxiety and neurosis of mortality while yet still young and healthy.

I hear fish have an attention span of only a few seconds, so you can think of it in the way that its not in pain that long, but you can also think of it the other way. Imaging only remembering the last couple of seconds, but stretching that out as your whole life and feeling the pain of being eaten alive for those seconds (your whole life).

Now, I also feel for those gazells and such that get caught by the lions and other predators on the discovery channel and the hunters settle down and start biting at the belly and haunches while the prey is still screaming and alive.

The oysters I had for lunch. First they get ripped open and poked with a fork and then not only eaten alive, but rolled around on my tongue first. That is what they get for being so dang delicious.
