What animal/species do you wish would go extinct?

My vote is for any animal with either:

A: More then 4 legs
B: 4 legs and wings

Or if i could only pick one then the tarantula (sp?) should be wiped of the face of this earth.

What species should be killed off?

Honestly, I revere all forms of life. But to participate in this thread, I'll say the red ants. I saw a documentary about the never-ending battle between the black and red ants. The red are immune to the black ants' venom, but the black are not immune to the reds'. The black ones are bigger and can crush them with their mandibles (don't know if that's the right word). IIRC, the red ants are currently winning the war. 🙁

That's totally unfair.

It doesn't qualify as an animal or species really but I'd say the HIV virus. Basically anything else is an important part of the food chain (e.g. everything points to humans 🙂) so if you killed them off it would screw up other things. However HIV, and any other virus, is not preyed on by anything and their only purpose is to spread.

i read once that dragonflies eat mainly mosquitos, which i found interesting cause i'd always wondered wtf was up with mosquitos' existence... and dragonflies make good birdfood, and so on. so i guess the foodchain thingy stands.

Dinosaurs . . . and wooly mammoths . . . and sabre-tooth tigers!!!!

<concentrates>

HEY! It worked!
