eits: I take 2 a day, 300 mg Krill oil + 900 mg. Omega 3.
Helps with my arthritis.
What are any other benefits?
(Yes, I AM a true believer in the chiropractic practice!)

pain relief, anti-inflammation systematically, healthier heart and vessels, decreased ldl, increased hdl, decreased add symptoms, better cognitive function, healthier skin, decreases depression symptoms, stabilizes your mood, prevent cancers, etc. there are tons of benefits...

Soo-Coe-Du or Sew-Ku-doe (Sudoku)

No. The word has been around since the 70s.

I see. When I first researched it in 2004 specifically to see the pronunciation, believable-sounding places specifically stated the origin as something new, which is all I bothered to remember along with the pronunciation.

Porsche is German and in German you say it PORSCHAAAAAA. So, arguably it is the correct pronunciation.

Elevator, lift, who cares... press the damn button, SSSnail!

Umm, they've specifically run commercials on American radio telling people that it's "Poor-sha" here too, so it's not really arguable.

LAX-adaisical. Ugh.

I just thought of something. When you say that someone is very "lax" (not strict) about something, is it short for lacadaisical?

I was suggesting that someone who pronounces Salmon Sal-mon be forced to take fish oil capsules. I too take krill oil capsules daily but only discovered them around 3 months ago. They are said to accomplish the same benefits as fish oil without the fishy aftertaste. I find that aftertaste so repugnant that I still have 4 fish oil capsules I haven't been able to force myself to ingest. I figure I'll eat them one at a time with pizza... that might work. :\ To think I endured those things for at least a couple of years!! Yes, the enteric coated ones suck almost as much, however the krill never bother me.

Ah, thanks for that. It's a word I don't think I've ever said out loud but seen on a lot of menus. Now I won't embarrass myself in front of my date or a waiter.

Uhh, the part people get confused has more to do with putting the L sound before the T sounds, which is just stupid if you know how it's spelled. It's carried by word of mouth. If you took a guess at it based on the spelling, you'd be more correct than the mispronunciation he pointed out no matter how you mangle it. Hint: the CHI part is sharp, like Church, and less soft, like some people pronouns Chihuahua ("She Wah Wah").

They get it right and wrong several times on the South Park episode about the restaraunt chain.

The problem is, I hear it said incorrectly ("chipolte") more frequently than I hear it correctly ("chipotle").
