Well unfortunatly for you you are just an American. Middle eastern people and asian indians are classified as caucasion

You live in Beverly Hills .. over there almost every other person is an Iranian and almost all of them are Jewish. You live in an area where you can say you are an Iranian-American. If you say that over here in VA then people will think twice about what you mean.

I'm not sure about Iranians in particular (I don't generally ask), but there are a lot of people from that part of the world in VA. I can't imagine people having to think about it. Atleast in Northern VA.

They're his a very strong Iranian community here in Montreal, I don't know but it seems that when I ask an Iranian about he's country, he starts to look uncomfortable about the topic and tries to change the subject. Some even communicate in English in public but when there at home they speak Farsi. Some have Western names, they even push it so hard to look western. Don't they carry any pride for their nation you know like the Italians, Greeks, Arabes etc. ? Just a question nothing personal. :)
