What am I going to do....

I live in a small town with a small school. I was just sitting in class on about the last day when our class president (who had be class president for years now) decided that he was not going another year. So I get nominated, no big deal, others where nominated right? Wrong, I had to pipe up and acctually yell at them to get others in our class (about 12 students) to nominate others. As you have probibly already come to the conclusion, I won. And now im worried. We do fund raisers so the classes can go on senior sneeks (seniors leave durring summer, used to be durring school....) I live in Idaho, and other classes usually go to like florida, or california, some have even gone on crusies. We currently have about $4000, I want our class to go to florida, Im estimating at about $8000 (12 people only 10 will probibly go as you have to graduate to go....). Can we make it? And has anyone else been put into a position like this?

You can do it. Think of various things you can do to help raise money:

Clean yards/tidy up landscape
Wash cars
Clean gutters on houses (better check about liability first though)
help people clean out garages
Rent a pressure washer and pressure wash driveways, decks, sidewalks, etc.

12 people - that's a damn small class. It'd be cool to go to a school like that. My class graduated 590 seniors and we started with 672. :Q

Oh, its not that the girls in our class are bad looking. but, in a school like this the students like fresh meat, and as far as getting particapents goes, we basicly have the supporters and the non supporters of the school, the supporters all have kids in school, the non supporters are old and just waiting to die.
