What Airline do you use in the USA?

TWA because their crews were always the most accomodating when I used to be able to jumpseat (ride for free). Most airlines would only let on a couple of people based on the number of empty seats in the cockpit (usually 1 or two) but TWA would take you as long as they had seats in the back. Too bad they got swallowed up.

Now as a paying customer I normally fly SW since they are pretty big in Nashville, but if I didn'y have kids and was unable to preboard I would at least find a carrier with reserved seating. I like SW but hate the cattle car approach to boarding.

If ME isn't going there NWA gets my vote.

Same here. Anyone that doesn't prefer Midwest Airlines is nuts. Leather Seats. No Middle Seat. Fressh Cookies. What's not to love. Bit more expensive sometimes but well worth it.

If they don't go where I need to we usually fall back on NWA but they suck crap and we only use them because they are cheap.... But you get what you pay for...

Southwest since I got no other choice on my short haul flights. At least I get a free flight after 4 roundtrips using their Rapid Rewards program.

I think I used alaskan airlines, now they change the name

that service is pretty good too, personal video at each seat

Alaskan Airlines is still around 😕

Alaska Airlines flies to...well Alaska 😛 I think they're the only commercial airline that flies into some cities such as Sitka. (only 1 terminal in Sitka)

I fly primarily United. I've flown continental and AA. I can't stand the planes on continental so I try to stick with united and I already have status with United.

My stats after 3 years of flying.

Membership level 1K
Current redeemable miles 626,104
Year to date Elite Qualifying Miles (EQM) 132,447
Year to date Elite Qualifying Segments (EQS) 48
Lifetime United flight miles 397,473

Southwest - by FAR

I will physically go out of my way to fly southwest since have better luck with their flights and their people - plus, 737s are quite a bit nicer than the crap AA or Continental tries to cram me on.

NWA has never been cheaper for me. They were more than double Spirit for the trip I'm taking on Jan.1.

Southwest. Only takes half a dozen round trip flights, no matter where, and you've got yourself a free flight to anywhere they fly 🙂

I like printing out a boarding pass from home.

I also like the fact that they overbook, so they have to ask passengers to take seats on later planes. I've taken that option many times, to collect on the 3x value they pay for your ticket 🙂

Alaska Airlines, because I fly from Seattle mostly and that's one of their hubs...

I HATE Southwest and their open-seating thing... that's just retarded...

Spirit doesn't fly to the cities I need to get to generally (Boston, mainly).

Southwest Airlines uses open seating on all flights, so you can choose any open seat you want when you board the aircraft. Open seating is first-come, first-served, and it expedites the boarding process so that we can offer low fares and ontime departures.
