What Airline do you use in the USA?

i have only flown AA and continental, because my aunt is a travel agent and usually gets me on for free or heavily discounted.

where i used to live you had 3 choices coming out of the out of town airport:
1. american eagle (operated by AA, takes you to DFW)
2. continental express (operated by continental, took you to Houston)
3. ASA (took you to houston also, operated by i dont know)

but either way took you to the nearest int'l airport in texas to board to DC or whereever i was going.

anyway if i had to buy myself a ticket, i would go with either continental or AA though. i heard united and the other ones are crappy.

Continental <-- because everytime I go back home, I have to take continental to the west coast before flying out of the US.
AirTran <-- cheap but reliable and good service

I will never fly United ever again. They have had my bags sent late 2 times and me delayed every single flight I've been on with them including getting me stuck in O'Hare trying to explain to me they won't cover the hotel room because there was a weather alert that shutdown flights for the night a half hour after my flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems.

I have been going with NorthWest for my past 5 flights and never had any trouble with them.

I like Continental the best, because they're based in Houston, and I've had good experiences with their planes and their staff. Their peanuts are good, too.

But I usually go with whoever is cheapest. I'd think it would be pretty difficult to find a truly bad airline experience these days.

Southwest, whenever possible. They usually have a great sense of humor, and don't run the airline like it's some great thing (i.e. United).

I think I used alaskan airlines, now they change the name

that service is pretty good too, personal video at each seat

umm I flew to orlando, Is alaska air's base in orlando??

United because that is the airline my company always goes with (fly out of O'Hare too).
Flew about 27,000 miles with them this year.

When you live in a smaller town or city, you are often limited to the one airline that flies connections out of your town.

It used to be American when I lived in Champaign, IL. I liked American... so long as I wasn't flying any of the old TWA routes.

Now that I live in Springfield, IL I am limited to United. What a clusterfsck. But it's still better than driving two hours to St. Louis.

Primarily United, mostly for the miles.

Current redeemable miles 446,826
Year to date Elite Qualifying Miles (EQM) 25,090
Year to date Elite Qualifying Segments (EQS) 10
Lifetime United flight miles 518,422

Pay economy prices, fly business.

Continental but then again I flew Song for the first time and it was awesome.

You can't beat having satellite TV in front of you. The flight went by so fast, it was a pleasure.

25,000 miles with only 10 segments? That's a lot of long flights. I think I had 30 segments for 27,000 miles.

Midwest Express.
2-wide leather seating and warm, home-baked cookies for all!
If ME isn't going there NWA gets my vote.
