Oh no the bunnies are used to power the main Anandtech site. they last longer but don't output as much power. But like all of them they are forced to run till their hearts explode. :'(

Could they at least push back the maintenance until 3-4 PST? I doubt anyone is up at 6 AM on the east coast.

Change the oil, check the fluids, wash the windows, and most important of all...inflate the tires to proper sidewall pressure.

I admit, having the forums shut down every night is a PITA. I don't remember the admins having to do this with FT. (or maybe they did it at a time that was "more convenient for me," so I never saw it happen.

They shut down the forums every night for maintenance? I thought it was just a once a week/month thing. I rarely stay up late these days, so it hasn't really affected me.

That's when they feed the hamsters and clean out their cages. Otherwise the hamsters will get sick, or even potentilaly die and there will be unplanned outages!

Plus it's usually down for more than a couple minutes. I think it's been a half an hour or more sometimes.
