A lot of good people so far, but I have to add that William Defoe (sp?) just has the perfect look for "crazed maniac"

I gotta give a vote to Sam Neil for his role in Event Horizon. I've just never been able to look at him the same again.

Gary Oldman and Chris Walken

Oldman was Dr. Smith in Lost in Space, and he was the Devil in one of the BMW movies.

nice one! gary oldman, from The Professional, The Fifth Element, and another one, dang it, slips my mind atm.

He also played Dracula. ;)

He's playing Sirius Black in Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter 3) as well. Nice subtle twist there, eh?

I think Gary Oldman is close to Walken and Malkovich...

I've never been afraid of Buscemi....i love him as an actor...but im not scared of him

anthony hopkins and kevin spacey are great but they can also play good guys which takes some of the fear away...

even in Pulp Fiction you are scared of Walken...hell even in that Fatboy Slim Video where he is dancing Walken looks scary
