Systematic charges looking for oil or natural gas.

Something about the size of a stick of dynamite is set off, the waves are measured as they bounce off oil, water and natural gas below the surface.

That close to the house? Seems there's plenty of land back there to do that.

Same thing I was thinking - unless there is a property line, or mineral rights line that prevented the systemic grew from going further away from the house.

A few years ago I found an area off in the woods were an oil company had been doing systemic test; the holes were around 3 feet across. The holes in the image look larger then 3 feet.
