That close to the house? Seems there's plenty of land back there to do that.

Same thing I was thinking - unless there is a property line, or mineral rights line that prevented the systemic grew from going further away from the house.

A few years ago I found an area off in the woods were an oil company had been doing systemic test; the holes were around 3 feet across. The holes in the image look larger then 3 feet.
