What is going around is that this could be responsible for not reaching high highs...

What I mean is there any decent information out?

ex. KK266 has got this jumper to switch between FSB default... So this would meen if you have a 1Ghz T-bird, you either get beyond 1333Mhz for a very short time or you don't and are stuck at 100??? Is that right??? This would be awefull... So are there really any ppl out that have this problem? I cannot imagine...

is that how it works?

kk266 and 1Ghz K7

If you want to try it then lower the multiplier first, then you will see what effect it...

The bios controles the multiplier... So that means that the the board will start at default multiplier and the bios then controlles the changes...

Well what is default multiplier... is this the regular 10x multiplier on a 1GHz. Or is it the lowest...? (on a KK266 that would be 5)

that is exactly the point Hardnut2K... Thank you you did the final tick to explain it all the way...
