What a ripoff! $.95 for a candy bar?

That reminds me of when I was at Dave & Buster's last night. $1.25 for a fucking soda. It's not the price that bothered me, it's the inconvenience. I either have to find a quarter from somewhere or use another dollar.

Just wait until the pop tax goes through and they will bump it to $1.50 as a excuse.

Bawls to that!

In two break rooms at this facility:
Snickers bar $0.80, 20oz Squirt drink $0.80
Snickers bar $1.25, 20oz Squirt drink $1.40

WTF?!

All small bags of chips are $1. I remember when they were $0.45 in 2000-2002. 🙁

Pop went to $1.50 about 3 years ago in my office building. Haven't bought one since.

Last I checked, 12.5 cents is DOWN from 75 cents.

Well christ, don't bring your own. And for god's sake, don't eat something healthy instead.

Where do you find a vending machine so cheap?
At the grocery it's a $1 a candy bar. Vending machines are usually $1.25 to $1.50 a bar. I've seen it be as much as $2 for a candy bar out of vending machines and the convenience store near my work charges $1.35 for a candy bar.

The deli in my building charges $1.79 for a regular snickers bar. They get away with it because the next closest place that sells candy bars is a target that is on the other side of a major highway, so they know no one is going to go out of their way to go get the candy bar at target.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

Why I remember paying a nickle for candy bars...and penny candy was GOOD stuff...

It was an outrage when candybars went to a dime! Then, to add insult to injury, they got SMALLER!

Soda pop in the machine was a dime...(and no bottle deposit either!)

😀 😀 😀

While I think the prices the OP is bitching about are ridiculous, I see no "rip-off," unless the machine is just taking your $ and not giving you any product.
Don't like the prices? Don't buy from the vending machines...Buy your own and keep a few in the desk drawer...
