What a ripoff! $.95 for a candy bar?

Yes, I did break the bill slot on the vending machine at work but that was not the cause for the price increase. We were notified of the price increase way before that, just not how much. Well all candy bars went up $.25. A Payday is now $1.00. $.70 for a candy bar before was tolerable but I'm not paying a dollar for one.

A few years ago a Nestle Crunch at the grocery store averaged 3 for a dollar, now it's all .79+. Someone notify Andy Rooney.

Probably can in Walmart, if you have the balls to go in there.

Where do you find a vending machine so cheap?
At the grocery it's a $1 a candy bar. Vending machines are usually $1.25 to $1.50 a bar. I've seen it be as much as $2 for a candy bar out of vending machines and the convenience store near my work charges $1.35 for a candy bar.

Start a side business in your office. Buy snacks in bulk, and sell them for 75¢ each, or 3 for $2 ;^)

That reminds me of when I was at Dave & Buster's last night. $1.25 for a fucking soda. It's not the price that bothered me, it's the inconvenience. I either have to find a quarter from somewhere or use another dollar.
