What a poser!

LMFAO!

Here is a video which is making waves on social media, which should make you peeved. A man went to a military funeral in West Palm Beach, FL over the weekend wearing US ARMY Dress Blues. He was confronted about his dress code by a couple of Marines. As the conversation heats up, you see that it is clear that this man who kind of resembles Wesley Snipes, is committing a federal felony by impersonating a Sergeant Major in the U.S. ARMY.

So what about the guys that dress up and play wwii paras. Run around pretending that they are shooting germans. Or even the guys that dress up as German SS etc.

Two completely different things. Your example is acting. The OP's is not. How can you not see the difference? Or is it a deliberate troll?

The guy was festooned like Gaddafi on a state occasion. No wonder he got called out.

I blame the people that go around saying "Thank you for your service" to every military person.

Thank you for being a cook.
Thank you for being a mechanic.

Really?

You're almost as dumb as the idiot in the video.

The cook and mechanic aren't risking their lives to protect my freedoms. I will thank a cook if he makes me a great meal though.

There's a lot of those types in the bay area. First one I met got himself and another person shot at within the first 2 months of knowing him. And they were getting along so well ...

So you wait to see if the cook makes you a great meal, but outright thank someone in the military for their service in protecting your freedoms without the equivalent of tasting the meal.

Reeks of hypocrisy but okay.

Not only that, but foreign medals mean shit in the US of A and not covered by the federal law.
Bronze stars with a V are not foreign though, I did hear them mention that one.

My grandfather had 5 of those in WWII, is one bar with 5 stars though, this guy was clueless and just looked pretty silly to begin with.

Dress uniform might be 5 of em, I forget these days.

That's just the one I really rembever them calling him out on, though everything was just wrong.
