Bwahahahaha! This is the biggest load of BS I've read today...

The PS2 is wonderfully powerful - for graphics calculations. But for sheer number crunching, such as that used for missle controls, it is only in the same ballpark as a PIII or P4... probably not even a 1 GHZ Athlon! So why wouldn't Saddam be scooping up those?

The truth is usually more boring than what we want to think - the "4000" PS2s heading over to Iraq are the ones being ordered / eb@yed / sold to rich kids over there... same as rich kids anywhere.

How does Saddam propose to "hook" these PS2s up to form a super-computer? Through the Firewire port?

Don't get me wrong, I love my PS2 - but its just a game console!

Yeah, I guess now because of Sony this article thinks we'll have to be wary of nuclear weapons from iraq. Its true! All PS2's come with 1 pound of weapon-grade plutonium in them plus a random nuclear item. If you collect all items you can make a weapon!
 
Suddam bought a bunch of PS2's to be used to teach his elite fighting force some combat basics
while playing video games. They might have a chance at victory against the PS2's.. 😀😀😀
 
duh they cant be bought by the same person, but i think the gov should take em away and the money, i thought we had trade embargoes or something

Saddam is trying to hoard PS2's so he could get weapons as ransom from the desperate kids. He now has millions of squirt guns and toy tanks. 😉
