What a good looking laptop!

Apple(Mac) is doing a demo on their Titanium Powerbook in the company I work for. This is the first time I saw the real thing, and this is the best looking laptop I have ever seen. I am not trying to start a war(I am a PC guy), but you really have to give credit to their designer.

Note: They have virtual PC on the Powerbook, do anyone know have much performance hit if I run Win in Powerbook?

Thx

Started as a mac guy and now have not owned one for 5 years.... Macs run great, but if you want to run windows as your main os -- get a pc....

Virtual Pc will run 10 - 50 % slower

10% slower on standard office usage

50% slower on anything with graphics (even powerpoint)

That's whack, buying an Apple PowerBook G4 Titanium just for it's design even though it runs Max OS X? I don't even know if Virtual PC is carbonized for Mac OS X. Adding another 256MB RAM would help but the laptop would be so _SLOW_.

The cheapest PowerBook is a G3/400 for $2595 with free 256MB RAM and CD-RW.

Why emulate a PC when you can have a world class IBM ThinkPad A21 for $1619 - that's almost $1,000 LESS and it's a lot more powerful than the PowerBook is.

I would only and only buy the PowerBook if you are a Mac OS user, otherwise you can't beat the value in a Dell, IBM, Toshiba or even dare I say it Sony VAIO.
