Heard George Lucas complaining about the rips of star wars on the internet and saying that they will lose money on DVD sales because of it. He said they won't make money on the film in the theater but only make money from the DVD sales and that people won't buy the DVD's because of the crappy cam rips.

This is of course BS because it will probably gross about a billion at the box office and then sell 10 million DVD's because the crappy cam rips suck !

SW fan boys won't be happy with just a rip. they have to have the DVD. every version if there is more than one. did you see they have four different covers on the soundtrack for ATOC? because every fanboy will buy all four of them.

He makes billions on merchandising alone, and releases and re-releases "special editions" and "remastered super special editions" on DVDs and crap like that. And he's bitching about losing money on some downloads? You know those people that download them right now are the superstarwarsfreaks who will go see the movie anyhow . . ..
