What a difference a fan makes!

I have a desktop case with a PIII 750 installed that was running what I considered a high temp. The case was 15-18 degrees higher than ambient room temp and the MB was running 25-30 degrees higher than ambient room temp. The case had no exhaust fan on it. I had a couple of 60mm fans lying around so I figured what the heck. I'll cut a hole or two and put 'em on the back of the case. The case temp dropped 5-6 degrees and the MB temp dropped a whopping 16 degrees!! I guess I can stick that Athlon in there after all🙂
