While this stuff is staged, these wrestlers still take a heck of a beating. Look at that guy that died from a stunt (can't remember his name) it may have been staged but you know that they didn't intend to bump the poor guy off. It takes someone who's in good shape to withstand the beating that they lay down each other. I may not watch wrestling but I'm sure most people on this board (myself included) would be in some serious pain after a pretend match with some of those behemoths.

WHY DOES EVERY SINGLE PERSON BEGIN ANY CONVERSATION ABOUT WRESTLING WITH "IT"S FAKE!!". OK it is fake. Every sane person over the age of 7 knows this. I have watched wrestling about 3 times in the past 6 months and I own no wrestling merchandise, have never been to a show, and virtually never talk about it. 99% of tv viewing is "fake". People practically dedicate their lives to following certain tv shows and yet people are not constantly saying "it's fake, it's not real" are they?? For the love of God just accept as any other television show.


edit: as mentioned, the blood is not fake. Yes half the moves look 20 times more painful than they are. But people are really falling, really getting hit with chairs, tables, etc. Let's see half the pansies that cry "it's fake" do any of that
