what 7200 RPM HD runs coolest?

I bought an external HD enclosure for dirt cheap and I wanted to put at least a 40GB 7200RPM drive in there. the enclosure doesn't have a fan though, just tiny slits for vents.

why not 5400RPM you ask?....because its a firewire enclosure and I want to use the faster 7200RPM to maximize transfers. Plus, I'll backup large .avi and DivX file on it so it would help to have the faster drive.

so what 7200 RPM IDE runs the coolest or do they all produce the same amount of heat?

thanks!

If you are not running the drive continuously, then you should not have a problem with heat. If you are running the drive 24/7 then get a drive bay with fans.
