My local video rental place has this 4 movies for 4 nights for $4.44 and I want to get 4 movies. 🙂 I'm having some friends over saturday night (including the girl I am asking out!) and I want my guests to be able to choose. I'll watch one friday though- so they can choose from 3. 😛

Which four should I get out?

All of the people coming have seen the matrix a bajillion times and own the movie- so forget that. 😛

Maybe one (semi-)mushy movie? I'll be sitting with the girl I am asking out in the love seat so... 😀

ViperGTS- lol, I've never seen any of those movies- I know they are horror/fscked up movies but I heard good things about them. 😉 Maybe during a weekend when I'm really depressed or something. 😉

TRP, I've seen analyze this about 5 times and Booty Call is such a bad movie. 😛
 
If a girl you want to ask out is gonna be there:

You've Got Mail (be sure to teary eyed sometime during the movie. ooh, sensitive 🙂)
Face/Off (to show you have a macho, masculine side as well as a sensitive side read: not gay)
Dumb and Dumber (some girls like guys that have a sense of humor and aren't afraid to be silly sometimes)
Dead/Alive (both gory and funny. kickass)

Good mushy movies? What kind of &quot;mushy&quot; are we talking about here? I heard people use &quot;mushy&quot; to describe anything from Bambi to Eyes Wide Shut😕.

Good date movies depending on what she likes (I'll pick from multiple genres here): Emma, While You Were Sleeping, The Replacements (keanu...), Return to Me.

Good non-mushy movies recently released that are good party movies (ie: cool or comedy): Me Myself &amp; Irene, Hollow Man, Road Trip, Scary Movie , High Fidelity, Whole Nine Yards.

If your girlfriend (to be) is apalled by &quot;kinky-ness&quot; of any sort then stay way away from: Eyes Wide Shut, Magnolia, and American Pyscho.

Manhunter (Haven't seen it yet myself, it's the first Lecter movie... Should be good.)
8mm (A guy I know was watching it in the Army with a group of guys. Their commanding officer (whatever the hell it is in the Army, I'm not even gonna guess.) made them shut it off because it's so messed up.
Bringing Out the Dead (Not messed up like the others, just freakin' strange)
American Psycho (More funny than anything else, but fvcked up beyond belief)
