My wife and I have been watching this and we both agreed that these people were so out of line to target these people. This is a 1000+ year old tradition and they use the spoils of their hunt to feed people on the island for the entire year following. Yes it is an ugly scene when the grind comes to an end, but I agree with the native folk that I would much rather live free for my life and die in a minute or two during this grind rather than live my life on a farm or in a slaghterhouse and be pumped full of steroids and other chemicals.
The crew of the Sea Sheppard and friends have no right to push their views on these people as these wales not endangered in any way and never have been because, as I stated, these people have been doing this for a thousand years. Actually, watching this makes me wonder who is sponsoring and contributing to the Sheppard because this seems like something McDonalds would do to get their foot in the door in a country that isn't interested.
