Westinghouse 42" 1080p LCD $1240 + shipping ($1285 shipped for me)

Seems like a pretty good price for a good tv. A little cheaper than the sceptre on newegg. I don't know how this compares to the sceptre in pic quality, but the specs seem the same to me. The Westinghouse has more inputs though. I also like how the westinghouse has all its inputs on the side for easy access. No tuner, but that doesn't matter to me, i will be using a digital cable box. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this, it seems pretty hot. What does everyone else think?

thanks for the warning. I had looked briefly at resellerratings, but didn't actually read any of the reviews. I saw the rating of 9.23 and thought that was fairly good (I guess I don't know what a good rating is supposed to be). I'm glad I took a closer look.

Read the horror stories from the people who didn't have their items shipped or who got defective TV's. Some people reported receiving return/refurb stuff as new. Basically it's a little bit of a crap shoot... could be worse, but I just thought it was worth calling attention to.

Considering either this or a 30" Dell... still not sure which. This is a good price, just make an informed purchase
