Just a warning to all:

These Westinghouse sets have issues with HDCP. They were known shortly after release and Westinghouse said that they would fix the issues with a firmware update, which they released, and it did fix the issue. When the new firmware came out, they said that they would be fixing everyone's sets for free.

Now they have backtracked and have said that they will not be fixing TV sets for free.

I'm in a fight with them right now over my 47" 1080p set...and they're not willing to budge at all.

I don't recommend buying this generation of Westinghouse sets because ultimately the 1080p support is useless without full HDCP.

I have an older Samsung, I say older, probably 3 years old, HDTV satellite and OTA HDTV tuner box. The good thing is this box has no DRM chips in it, and can output via VGA, component, DVI. I keep reading that many people can't tell any difference between component and a digital imput as far as picture quality. I mention this because this would get around any HDCP issues. It works great for OTA HDTV signals and can also get DirectTV signals too. I paid 35.00 for it on the Bay...

Oh, since the box has no HDCP capability, I guess the digial output should work with a HDCP compliant monitor? Anyway, I know the component will work fine.
