Wasn't really planning on picking up a second tv, but when I saw the ads this weekend at Bestbuy, I checked into this model, and it got some phenomenal reviews for the price range. I had a few 12% off Reward Zone coupons, so I went to check it out this AM and ended up buying one.

If you need a second wall mountable LCD HDTV for gaming, your computer, or just to watch, this is a pretty good deal.

Where can we get the 12% off coupon at?

I got my coupons in the mail. I was also able to use the 12% coupon with no problems on this tv. I am very happy with the purchase. Has its own hd built-in so it can evidentally upconvert the content. Unless I am mistaken? Anyways, it looks good even on regular sat. tv. It appears to upconvert a component signal to 480i and it looks pretty nice to me and my wife. It also uses the ATI xillion chip. The quality looks good to me :)

I guess my local Best Buy's are just nazi's. I tried this coupon at 5 different ones when I originally had this tv and got shot down every single time.

Formulav, do you have the Dish Network HD PVR? It upconverts inside the reciever. Mine didn't upconvert when I had it and neither does my 37w2, which is the same TV.

Bearxor - the guy in my tv department told me I might not be able to use the coupon because the $699 was sale, not regular, price. When I got it up to checkout though, the cashier just rang up my three items, scanned the coupon, and it automatically assigned the coupon to the tv. That tells me their system is programmed to apply the coupon to the TV, and it shouldn't be a YRMV issue depending on the cashier or salesperson you get. Maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't have to argue for it or anything - it just rang up that way.

As for where to get the coupon, mine was sent to me in the mail because I'm a Reward Zone member. I've been getting them every other week since October. They must need to prime the pump or something. In any event, at least around me, you can almost always go to the store and find someone walking around with extra coupons who will give you one. I always hand mine off to someone if there's nothing I want to buy .... gave one to some clueless old lady the other day who was buying a $500 tv. I saw her in line with no coupon and figured I really didn't need the $1.50 off the $15 item I was buying. She thought I was attacking her or something at first, but I just wanted to save her $50 - I made her Christmas.

FYI - The coupon was only good through yesterday.

my 10% and 12% Bestbuy coupons are good to the end of the year.

Hmm...the ones I received in the mail last week were only good from the 8th-10th.

I had coupons that were good through today, and also one that is good through 12/31. Can't remember when/how I got each though.

For those who might not have the couponds, does anyone know if Best Buy still offers 10% off your purchase if you open a new credit account ? That's always a good way to get some $$$ off.

Turned out the 10% coupon I had left was good through the 11th. Went to BB and picked up the Westy 32". They offered me a $70 gift card to take an open-box item that someone returned despite it working fine. I figure no big deal since I've got 30 days to return it plus the 4-year warranty.

For anyone reading this thread who is thinking about trying this deal but doesn't have a coupon, you may want to try this: http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/en...6_10_12_coupon_final.pdf?ref=36&loc=09

It's a printable In-Store only 10-12 % off coupon I got in email today, good from 12/12 - 12/17. I don't know if it's limited in any way, so no guarantees ... but 1st come 1st serve. I don't need it for anything.

I couldn't resist waiting until Christmas, so I took the unit out today and hooked it up to HD cable and tweaked it out. NICE !! A very good value at $619.
