PS - I feel your pain Bababooey...my shoulder surgery was $15,000...Luckily I have health insurance, but they don't cover all of it....i think I'll give up snowboarding.

My first post in a couple of years but I needed one of these to backup my laptop and desktop data. Thanks for the info, this deal worked out great.

i pulled the trigger and bought two. didnt get the discount, because even though i used a different email address, it appears the GCO is tied into your credit card or shipping address, not email account.

I use one AE card and one debit card so i was sol.

Price came to $191.00 for both. A friend is buying one from me.

I like the size of the Passport.
 
Well I signed up for google checkout and ordered one of these. Been wanting something to back up my pictures/music/files to in case one of my main two hard drives fail.

im in the same boat as the guy before me. didnt want to spend any money but i've been looking for another hard drive. my 160gb is getting full and i'd like to use it solely for backup purposes and replace it with this one for regular use. i like this deal considering i dont like the decent ($30~) hard drive enclosures.
