Hmm.. I've got 120 gig that I fixed up and did the data lifegaurd crap and set it up but it seems to have formatted to the wrong size, 111 gigs.... also, I thinkit might be the cause of the windows installation going to heck on the primary drive. ANy tools I can use on both the HDD"s to prepare them to use again?

Oh come on dude everyone else does it, and as if anyone actually goes to the other forums anyway. I don't even realise AT has other forums cept for OT..

you have a hardware virus, your HDD will be dead within a week. best bet is to burn the whole system and all network hardware and cables. start fresh with a whole new set-up.

Posting in the wrong forum happens. However to say that nobody goes to the other forums and you not realizing that there are other forums on a HARDWARE REVIEW website earns you massive amounts of Stupid Points.

There are many many people who come to AT but do not frequent ATOT.

The answer has already been given in this thread, yet you are too dense to pick up on it.

No one give this arrogant douche bag any more help.

Bring it to GH or peripherals.

As mentioned in another thread, these companies are whack. A CD-R or RW that is 700mb actual is 700mb. Jump to a DVD-R and it's back to the funny math.

STFU.

As has already been mentioned, this is how HD companies like to pump up their storage numbers. One gigabyte in HD marketing is one billion bytes (1000000000 = 1000^3) instead of the real number (1073741824 = 1024^3). All the HD manufactures do this though, so at least its standarized...

Post in right forum next time.
