The AALS "black" drive is a little bit faster. It has the lowest seek times of any 7200rpm hard drive. They say it gives the Raptors a run for their money in terms of overall performance.Originally posted by: Y23KC

Maybe the warranty? I'm not sure, but I thought WD had a 3 year warranty, but this one shows a 5 year warranty.

$68 is a steal for this hard drive. My one knock against it is that SSDs are the wave of the future.

Ok, bought it yesterday with the Paypal thing, but I got charged the full $83.24 and there is no mention anywhere of $15 cash back on my final invoice and nothing in paypal, so WTF???
I know for fact before I finished the transaction it mentioned the end price would be $68.24...
Is it because I had no money sitting in paypal and paid via credit card thru paypal?
Should I have used direct bank transfer, or did you need to have cash sitting in your paypal account to make this work?

I received my $15 Paypal cashback this afternoon. I ordered the drive on 12/19 and it shipped on 12/20 with the free shipping but have not received it yet.
Thanks OP!
