The additional storage on the 640GB can prove quite useful though...Just partition the drive.

How much space should I allocate for my OS partition?
 
I'd say that's up to you.

I don't think there's a "correct" size to make the partition for the OS.

I'd make it big enough for whatever you plan to install on it.

Some people like everything on the same partition, others like their games & apps on other partitions.

So it really depends on how to plan to lay things out IMO.
