No, Mysterie's receipt (in another thread here) was from some place in Californina (I'm in Virginia). I just took a marker and blacked out the store location and phone number before going to CompUSA. I had local Best Buy stock info with me, but I didn't need it.

Like Mysterie said I don't know if copies of the rebate will work. Better off with the original.

BLoop, I can try to see if I can pick up some of these $60 rebates today. I need to return some things so I will check. I will post if I get any (probably call the police on my a** if I hie outta there with a pad of those, LOL).

OK. i just got the drive for $119 after i pricematched it from the reciepts posted. i dont know how.
also i picked up some $60 rebates for nice people only.

I bought my drive on Oct. 9 in Nashville,Tn.for $ 190.00,mailed all the rebates in same day.Then got the scan for $ 129.00 went to Compusa today Oct 12.He said no problem started to give back the credit an half way through said hey this reciept is from Ca. an I`am not suppose to do this but I`am half way through now so lets do it.
