Western Digital 250GB for $109 @ Best Buy

This was not advertised in my local ad. According to my friend who works there, the price was $109.99. Went in today and picked up 3 drives at that price out the door, no rebate! Not sure how long it will last. That is the cheapest out the door price I have seen on a 250Gb drive. The Best Buy website will have a different price than in-store.

sorry it took so long to get a scan up. no digi cam when i first posted. I believe it is this price to compete with the local Fry's Electronics store in the area that just opened. apparently by the feedback it is local to this area.

I just called best buy in crystal lake IL the 250 is ringing up at 199 but there is a sale on the 80 gig that is 109 with 50 dollar rebate.

I have to go along with the other guys on this one. I just called the Addison store:

The MOD assured me that they would, in fact, match Fry's $139 out the door. HOWEVER, he also assured me that there was no way they would match an after rebate price out the door.

I live in Central Illinois, and just happened to check out Fry's in Downers Grove yesterday. All I gotta say is I am impressed. I picked up 2 of the WD 250's, which, were $139, with a $30 rebate, and 2 of the 1gig, 3200 DDR chips for $119 out the door. Its worth the 3 hour drive to save a couple hundred bucks.

They also have a barebones system, 2800+, mboard, and case with 450watt ps, for $149. Also misc deals on dvd burners, and other drives.
