Does anyone know the performance of this drive compared to say the Seagate Barracuda IV or V, the Maxtor Diamond Max Plus, etc... I'm having a hard time finding any shootouts on new hard drives...

Yep, I know the PM drive is the 2MB cache BB drive, not the 8MB JB; and that it's a bare drive, not retail, but from all accounts, Amex couldn't care less.
