I got in on this in the end of June, and I received $130 back from AMEX BVG about 3 wks ago; so it did work for me!

I sent an email to WD a couple days ago to see if they received my rebate submission. You will not believe the nerve they have...

We have researched your rebate and were unable to find your rebate
submission. We are certain that you mailed it, but it never arrived at
our facility for processing. Unfortunately, some articles are lost,
misdirected, and/or damaged in the mail. Please resubmit copies of all
materials that you originally sent, to:

If you have questions on resubmitting or about the rebate form itself,
please send a reply email with the complete rebate form submission

WOW! I did call WD yesterday and then they told me to mail this to WD at a different PO Box then stated in this email reply.
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS REBATE SUBMISSION make backup copies (as you should with any rebate - esp high $ items) before submitting.
