The Sandy Hookers took longer than I thought to realize THIS IS A CONSPIRACY, but they never disappoint.

did you watch the video?

and what moron would think sandy hook was a conspiracy?

Oh there's always those types of people

The last one I heard was that the Sandy Hook memorial page was a registered URL before it even happened, or something like that... so SOMEBODY knew it was coming 🙄

It's called a flashover dude.

Edit: I'm wrong, I don't know what the technical term is but basically there wasn't enough oxygen in the fire to burn all the material. Some material escaped in the smoke, it met with oxygen and got ignited.

The other possibility is that the "smoke" is some sort of heavy flammable vapor. The vapor becomes diluted to flammability as it drifts away, it drifted over to an ignition point, and then the flame front went back towards the main fire.

Comments already disabled? Fascinating. 🙄

If the smoke was blowing in that direction, so was all the heat from the flames. The heat alone could have caused a pressurized tank to explode.

It's not rocket science.

Yeah, it could easily just be something to the left off of camera igniting.

I do find it rather odd that not a single media outlet was filming this as it happened and the only video anyone has is that dude's cellphone. I mean, think about this in all reality, how often have you seen a huge fire like that which was NOT being filmed by at least 3 or 4 local media outlets. I have thought all along this was just an industrial accident but now you have to wonder.

West, Texas, has no media outlets. It's well outside DFW and Waco, and would take a TV truck a good hour or more to get there.

It wasn't much of an incident until the explosion, so I find it entirely normal that the media did not film the explosion.

Before that it was a relatively small fire.

I think it was the same missile that blew up the World Trade Center. It was such an awesome missile that it plowed right through the building and kept circling the globe until it finally ran out of fuel in Texas.

No, we don't.

This is only a drill…

April 16, 2013 in Main

Update on the drill (posted 4/18): Due to the events in West, Texas last night, North Hills Hospital and the NCTTRAC have chosen to cancel today’s emergency preparedness drill. Many of the same resources planned for the drill have already deployed to West to help care for the victims down there.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, loved ones, and first responders affected by this terrible tragedy.

North Hills Hospital is proud to be hosting one of the largest emergency preparedness drills ever held in the state of Texas this week. We will be partnering with the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC) and first responders from throughout North Texas to test our equipment and processes so that when a real disaster happens, we’re all ready to respond.

This drill is even timelier in the wake of the bombings at Monday’s Boston Marathon. Our prayers go out to the victims involved, and we are proud of the first responders – EMS, fire, police, race workers, and hospital staff - who so bravely cared for the injured.

If you live near North Hills Hospital, you will see a lot of activity in our parking lots over the next three days as the NCTTRAC sets up a mobile 140-bed hospital, along with dozens of ambulances, several AMBUS (multi-patient ambulances), and helicopters. This is only a drill and will simulate a hospital evacuation, something that might be necessary in the event of a tornado, hurricane, earthquake, or prolonged power failure.

Set-up for the drill will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, with the drill occurring on Thursday. At no time will regular patient care be affected, as the drill will use only “actor” patients and be confined to non-patient care areas and the parking lot. Tune in to our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/northhillshosp) and Instagram feed (@NorthHillsHospital) for pictures of the drill throughout the week.

If they are smart, they would stay the fuck away from a BURNING FERTILIZER PLANT. :colbert:
