I vote to acquit. Not because I think Lightrider is an innocent, but as a protest against this sham of a court! Lightrider has rights! Where is his state appointed attorney? Where is his psych evaluation? Doesn't he get some time to prepare his trial, call witnesses, and get his business in order before his execution? These are questions that must be answered!

If no one else is certain it might just be better left up to chance. I randomized the list and got Chiropteran, so I'll go with that until something else comes up.
 
The crowd finding truth in light riders words still feel the unease of not holding someone accountable. Someone in the crowd yells for a decision. Not knowing what to do they start a discusion of the events. Chiropteran makes the mistake of speaking out. Being new to the village the towns people turn on him.

Dragging Chiro to the town square they string him up. Pulling a noose over his head they tighten the knot around his neck. Several members of he lynching party slowly hoist his struggling body up. Kicking and gagging they watch as his body convulses then twitches and finally goes still.

Then as if on queue they all turn on his house. They plan on tearing it apart in search of whatever demonic ways he turns into a werewolf and destroying them. Upon kicking in his door are ravaging his house they realize with a sickening feeling that Chiro was
just a ordinary villager after all.

What did they do? Now now only is the wolf still out there but the blood of the innocent is on their hands. Do they deserve this fate? Maybe they are just as anamilistic and wild as the creature they fear.
