My eyes were owned by reading. That and the fact that I'm asian.

I'd be hard pressed to think of many in my family that don't have glasses/contacts. One of my uncles is legally blind without his.

Early high radiation CRTs ruined my eyes :(.

I remember when I got my first 'low radiation!' monitor. It was a blast because my mom couldn't yell at me for sitting too close to the monitor anymore :D

My eyes were toast long before I ever owned a PC ... in fact my perscription hasn't changed at all in nearly 10 years so maybe my computer is helping!

That doesn't make any sense. Legal blindness refers to one's vision under the best possible correction.

I always had 20/20 vision as a kid. I was at a conference a couple years ago and asked the guy next to me if the projector was out of focus. He just sort of chuckled and said it wasn't. I have to imagine that 10 years as a programmer had something to do with it, because I'd never had vision problems for the first 30 years of my life. But both my parents wear glasses, so I'm sure I was predisposed as well.

25 and 20/20 still... Maybe they have been getting a work out from all the FPS I play? Or I just lucked out with good genes.

From reading as a kid, not from computers. I had glasses long before I even started using computers.

Had glasses in 3rd grade until 5th grade due to astigmatism, but nothing now. Probably coincides with the first time I got my computer. Evolution baby! :D
