I went back home for thanksgiving break and I decided to get out the old dreamcast. I never really used it since there were no games I could find that interested me. I guess that was the major downfall of the console. Anyway with games around $2 on ebay I'm just wondering if there are any games worth picking up for it.
 
Ikaruga (Japanese import, but it came out in the US on Gamecube), Dead of Alive 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2...

and oh yeah wrong forum!

actually this fits OT just fine. the rest of the forums are for computers, not consoles.

I had Rush for the playstation. It was pretty fun but seemed REALLY buggy. Was it any better for the dreamcast?
 
Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Virtua Tennis, Metropolis Street Racer, House/Typing Of The Dead, Seaman (really weird). If my DC games weren't buried I'll name the rest I'm forgetting.

Rush looked like sh!t on the Playstation... so pixelated and crappy looking..

I never noticed any bugs on the Dreamcast.. It ran fine..
 
Test Drive Le Mans (if you like racing games). There is a real time 24hr race mode w/save points only during pit stops (if you *really* like racing games).

I ditched my Xbox for a Dreamcast since the only games I played on the box were on the DC too.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (noticable slowdown compared to Xbox)
Street Fighter III Third Strike
Capcom Vs. SNK 2 (import) if you can find it

Soul Calibur
Sonic Adventures and Shuffle are good ones
Rayman 2
House of the Dead 2 and Samba De Amigo (but not worth it due to overpriced accessories)
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Power Stones
NFL 2K series gets a lot of praise, I prefer Blitz

It's a decent console, but the only games worth picking up are overpriced since they've become novelty items for the retards that collect games rather than play them. I think you should just save your money and put it towards something else.

xbox i count 90, but halo 2 is listed twice. considering xbox has been out for 4 years, and the dreamcast was only viable for 2, that's impressive.
