-getting high
-shopping
-joing the other side vs. the Evil Bush Administration
-pressuring for a peaceful resistance
-fleeing to a state where they'll actually be safe

upwards of 1,000,000 just means an amount over 1,000,000 that was rounded down. 1,000,001 is upwards of 1,000,000... 2,000,001 is upwards of 2,000,000.

Ok, well, given your new rules...

I think most of the damage to the enemy would come in one of two ways.

Either small to mid sized gangs (5-20) people launching suprise attacks on outposts and command stations using pretty much anything they can get their hands on.. IE, handguns, rifles, IEDs..

or, one or two man sniper teams who have more powerful rifles and want to actually have a good chance of surviving the attack.

but as far as what weapons we used, it would be anything we have lying around, as others have stated.
 
Long range weapon (hunting rifle with scope), semi-auto pistols or revolvers, and shotgun. All the ammo I can find, preferably buckshot for the shotgun, but take it all.

If I were planning on assaulting in addition to defense, I'd get as much AN fertilizer and diesel fuel as I could. I'd also need a lot of small containers (bags?) and fuse material. Fireworks store might be helpful. I ziplock bag filled with anfo with a string of black cats in it with the fuse poking out could be cheap, easy, and effective. Also molitov cocktails with the excess diesel.
 
there wouldnt be any invasion like this. if any country was stupid enough to even try to invade in force, our government would give them one warning to pull back. if they didnt and acutally landed troops, the countries that invaded us would see giant mushrooms sprouting in thier back yards.

that is why we will never be invaded.


but if China gets froggy and decides to take us over, you can bet they would nuke us first then send in the army. i have been curious to know what would who would actually win if china and the US got into a Nuke war. not that i want to see it happen for it would destroy the world, but i would love to see the sand table exercises our military leaders have done on this scanario and what would be left standing.

US would totally dominate in a nuke war. We would lose L.A., maybe S.F. and thats about it.

Almost all of China would be totally destroyed. Most of their nukes are on liquid fuel rockets that take over an hour to set up for launch. That said.. they are building solid fuel rockets, partially in response to our missile defense initative.

ANFO FTW - but you need blasting caps to detonate it. Not just a fuse.

Russia is broke, China doesn't have the ability to project force off it's own continent, and the Mexicans can't even make their own country worth living in so I don't think I have much to worry about in the way of a foreign invasion. That being said I have a nice collection of military weapons as do many of my friends. Plus, we have enough ammunition for a small revolution so I am not worried about much of anything.
 
Gotta snipe & move against a better equipped force. Weapon of choice - maybe a 220 swift or .17 HMR - or any small cal accurate at distance with a good scope...

Better to wound a soldier - say a gutshot - that kill'em since it will make the invaders expend more resources to care for the wounded.

Well there are always us Canadians to worry about, we would hire a couple Russian jets and fly our peace keepers down, and before you know it we'd be in control.(our defence minister drew up a plan for invasion in the 20's, just a lesser know fact)

 
I wouldn't worry about invasion from any nation for quite a long time. China would almost definitely take over Japan first (payback for WW2?) or at least some other nations in Asia. There's no reason for China to strike at us when it has plenty of easier targets all around. Russia is in no condition to be invading anyone...

If an invasion did happen, everyone would just maphack and buy noob cannons

Too much French influence in Canada. Even if you had the balls to do anything you would spend so long contemplating action that by the time you made up your mind your impending plans would have been leaked and you would end up surrendering to the US wihtout us even having to step foot across the border.

 
I'd kill one of them with my bare hands and take his equipment. Er... no, that wouldn't work. If I'm looting a gun store, I'd take any semi-automatic rifle I can find with a decent caliber and capacity (no wait I'm white, so I'd just be "finding" stuff in the gun store, not looting it 😉). Actually, a longer rifle with a scope would be good (assuming I have time to sight it in), because I think it'd be best to hit them from far away... if you got near them you'd be annihilated and therefore useless. But it'd also be good to have a shorter semi-auto assault rifle in the event that you need to defend yourself close up.
 
I actually had a weird dream about that. I dreamt that there were chinese tanks and soldiers all over the neighborhood killing my neighbors and they were coming to my house next. Somehow, I single handedly killed about seven chinese soldiers with a .22 gun my dad has. In end we escaped through the back...that's pretty much all I remember from the dream.
 
I imagine our large navy and air force would repel the attack before it even got remotely close. Anyone thinking about doing such a thing to a nuclear power is just stupid.
