It's so damn hard finding a MKIII Supra Turbo that's manual in my area... I see plenty of autos but I'm not the kind of person wanting to do a swap

Is your car stock?

you idiots called rice when you don't even know what it means. whatever. It's a beautiful car and it's done beautifully.

Do you see any stickers, stupid exhaust, chrome bling bling rims?

idiots.

Thanks for the comment on my build up of my supra. It's getting a paintjob right now. I should be able to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Gee, hope you fools didn't call my car rice cause i painted it and it's shiny and sparkling now.

And no. my Supra Turbo is not stock. Just BPU mods right now.

Boost Controller, Turbo Timer, 3-in Catback Exhaust,

You know, if I were dismantling my car like you guys did, I probably would have gone crazy and stripped everything for the sake of weight loss and impracticality. 😀

EDIT: whose mkiv supra is that one in front of your car?

Just so you know, I wasn't calling your car rice.

I think the whole "RICE RICE" thing is beyond old at this point.

The car got painted and it's beautiful. They prep the car for me too. For $350.

They sanded completely down, took the spoiler off, primer the entire car,

Paint the car and spoiler separate. It's now sitting in the paint booth baking @ 150 degrees & waiting to dry

I'm working tomorrow so i'm going to drive it home when i'm done.

All it took was 2 days. I think they skipped me to be the first in line to be painted 🙂

Considering how that word has been used in these forums, I think adding an air freshner in your car would warrant a RICE comment in this crowd.

I'll be waiting on some pics.

I plan to get my car painted sometime soon (white 240sx) and this might be the inspiration I need to get off my butt and do it. I'm not sure about getting it done at Maaco but I would like to see how yours came out.

Well my brother-in-law is a Master Mech. & also do bodywork & paint. He install & Mold body kits, rebuild engines, turbo installations, Paint jobs,

Anything relate to a car he can do. Paint, Body work (Frame pulling, dent fixing, body kits), Engine work, Electrical system

i've seen him put together a car that was smashed from front to the driver seat from a bad accident....it looked brand new once he was done. He cut half of the car off and replaced it.,

The supra is a customer's car. He does his work at home too. Right now he got 3 customers cars in his garage at home.

A CRX that he put a prelude engine in (waiting to put the rest of the parts of the car together.
A Integra that needs an engine put in.
A neon that needs bodywork.

There might not be any stickers or chrome rims, but the whale tale and the altezzas will warrant your car being called "rice." But, maybe it's that you're on the east coast and it's still the in thing to do... The bodykit/hugewing setup over here has been played out for a couple years now, i guess it hasn't worn itself out over there yet.

I suppose we all have different definitions of rice.

I still owed 10g to Snap-on (already pay 12g)

I know know about you, I would really like someone to work on my car when i see that someone else trust him with their $37k (Used!) 1997 Limited Edition Supra

A word of advice to you thought. Maaco is a franchise. Therefore, every maaco is different.

This particular Maaco has had a lot of postitive feedback from people. That's why i bring my car to them.

You'll probably get different result with the Maaco in your area. Make sure you search for feedbacks from other people first (google)

and also, go in there and ask them to show you some cars that has been painted with whatever package.

Wow that's sweet, a good mechanic is possibly the 4th best thing since sliced bread.

If you haven't notice, the white lights matched the entire car. The body is red, the rest of the car is white

Tail lights, rims, front light, side marker light. It's done right.
