Seriously, a 9mm is wimpish round. If you think a Glock 9 has kick go to Wal-Mart and ask to see their selection of BB guns. I think a Daisy Red Ryder should be just about right for you.

I did try out other guns and realize that Glock is probably the easiest on beginner, but I surely wasn't expecting that kind of recoil before I fire my first shot. So bite me. 🙂

I got pretty comfortable with it though, and couldn't get more of shooting. 🙂

kahr K40 was the other gun I tried.

My 12 year old son fired my Glock 17 with no problem, he had never fired a gun before (as far as I know 😀) he wasnt surprised by the recoil, what were you expecting? no recoil at all, like in the movies?
