Great food, open bar, too bad I didn't get to eat the cake because the wedding started at 6pm and I left after the last dish which was served around 10pm. And I had to drive for 2 hours to go home.

Small dishs - salt and pepper scallops, jelly fish, sliced beef, cold cucumbers
Crab claws - Shrimp and crab ball with a snowcrab claw
Spicy shrimp - Shrimp with hot pepper & green pepper sauce
Friend eating fried flying rat - roasted squab(?)
Orange Beef - no pics
I'd like an Abalone sandwich - Sliced abalone with shiitake & mustard greens
Lobster with ginger & sping onions
Fish - Deep fried whole fish with Hunan sauce
Ex-fish
House fried rice - no pics
Ice statuette
Cake
Cheers!
Bride and my friend - She's a broker in NY, makes over six figures a year.

EDit: updated with more pictures as requested

Table - Sign up table up front with picture of bride and groom.
Groom - Groom, graduated from Cornel(sp?), and parents of the bride. Note the big screen in the back, there were 6 big screens there showing live videos broadcasted via internet.
Let's Dance! - Large dance floor
Drunkard? - Who's that guy?
Jailbaits - Note the live band in the back too

Now I remember why I hate seafood...but I do love chinese, so that's just an evil ploy to click the pics..

Those are small portions. Is that the average sized dishes found in Chinese NY restaurants? Much larger portions here in Toronto.

Depends on the restaurant... Of course, my uncle works at a nice restaurant (Royal Chinese Restaurant - forgive the clichéd name - a bit east of Kennedy on Sheppard) and our dishes are definitely... ample.

They feed 10 about people per dish(crab balls had, 10 balls). Also, for a 10 course meal, I don't want to get stuff on just one dish. I believe it is about 2-3 times the size of a "regular" take-out portion.

I believe they had about 20 tables there for the wedding.

This is Washington D.C by the way.

Went to a wedding and took pics of the food??

Took pics of the wrong thing, my friend. 😉

I took more pictures of hot chicks, but with a digital camera, after you snap the picture, they were gone. 🙁
unless they posed for you of course.

let me guess it was an Asian wedding?

Define Asian wedding. They used a Methodist priest, pretty much the only thing asian is the bride and the food. I guess 1/2 of the guests are Asians.
