Went down today for the first time...

Well, I just got my new dark smoked visor today and it was great driving back from work without having to face down and squint upwards through my clear visor.

Half way back from work, I take an exit after a causeway to take a drink out of a bottle I carry with me. So, I exit freeway, go down ramp into this little dirt road that travels alongside the freeway, and move over to the gravel shoulder when the following happens

Bike Stops
Lean noticed
Right foot dangles uselessly searching for ground
Bike goes down
Full tank of gas makes lifting bike back up a hot chore that involves slots of cursing
Bike comes back up, silver/black thing noticed on ground
Curse heard in the heavens...

So, looks like I'm riding to work tomorrow with my right foot on the little thing spring thing thats still on there and I might as well spring for some anodized pedals for both sides.

Don't worry about how I didn't mention too much cursing in the thread, I'm still cursing as I type this and present to you today's only casualty.

Picture of broken footpeg... wheres the pictures of your bike? I dropped mine in gravel to a few weeks ago, I was backing it up and my foot just slid across the surface of the gravel and down she went. Almost zero damage for me though, thank god for the frame sliders, not even a scratch.

The bike is already a little scratched up from previous owners. Heres a picture of the left side, but the right side is about the same. I have frame sliders too (dunno how much they helped), but after brushing the dirst off, she didn't seem any worse off.
